I'm H. C. Hannah, a crime thriller author based in the beautiful county of Suffolk, in the UK.

I love escaping into suspenseful mystery thrillers,
and I love writing them too!

I’ve spent much of my working life…

as an anesthesiology nurse in a Suffolk hospital, and an emergency nurse in the ER at one of London’s Major Trauma Centres.
I’ve been lucky to work with some incredibly talented people, many of whom were
the inspiration behind the characters in my novel Plane Justice.

I’m obsessed with travel.

The stunning Caribbean islands are my favourite place in
the world and I’m always planning my next visit. I love the people and their kindness;
the vibrant culture; the incredible palm-fringed beaches (looking at you Seven Mile, Negril);
the lush rain forests; and the mouthwatering food:
jerk chicken, johnny cakes, anything with coconut.

And I love flying.

I've held my Private Pilot’s Licence for over ten years, but I'm just as excited about getting airborne as I was on my very first flying lesson.

And abandoned places.

Oh, and I have an insatiable fascination with exploring abandoned buildings. It’s a hobby that has gotten me into trouble on more than one occasion.
There’s something magical about the faded glamour of once luxury resorts and opulent hotels. When I’m clambering through weed-strewn doorways or navigating rotting staircases, I imagine how these places once were; lively and bustling with the chatter of excited guests,
the clink of glasses, the chime of an elevator.

Now they’re lonely and reclusive; derelict ruins left to decay.

I'm obsessed with their history and their stories, whether an intriguing myth surrounding a deserted mansion, an urban legend behind an abandoned sanatorium,
or a scandalous secret in a disused cinema’s past...

Plane Justice | Crime Thriller Novel

A few years ago, I wrote Plane Justice. I submitted it to multiple literary agents, but after receiveing multiple rejections I self-published it, promptly moved
onto other things, and forgot about it. Until now.

This summer, 2026, I’m excited to release a new, re-edited edition of the story.
Because I still believe in it. And I still love it.
But most of all, I hope you do too.
